World Book Day: Gigs and Tours’ Top Reads

Share:

Get your reading glasses on, sit in your comfiest chair and relax, because World Book Day is here! The day aims to raise money to make sure every child and young person has access to books, and celebrates the hard work of authors around the world in all genres. So here’s some of our favourite reading material written by musicians, adventurers and chefs alike!

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Jessie Ware and her chef extraordinaire mum Lennie have conquered the podcast world, and have now ventured into writing as they’ve just released their own cookbook! Their podcast is formed from chatting to guests such as Sam Smith, Sadiq Khan, Tom Kerridge, Kiefer Sutherland, Nigella Lawson, Mark Ronson and Ed Sheeran at their dinner table over a three-course meal. Table Manners: The Cookbook contains some of the best recipes these wide-range of guests have sampled, split into seven sections: Effortless, A Bit More Effort, Summertime, Desserts and Baking, Chrismukkah (a combination of Christmas, Hanukkah and other celebrations) and Jewish Food.

Jessie and Lennie are also taking their award-winning podcast on the road in for the first time later this month!
