At 11am this morning, the top 12 albums in the running for this years Mercury Prize (now in partnership with FREE NOW) were announced, from Harry Styles’ ‘Harry’s House’ and Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’, to Wet Leg’s self-titled ‘Wet Leg’ and Scottish Jazz pianist Fergus Mcreadie with ‘Forest Floor’ – it’s safe to say the lineup for this year is diverse and includes a wide range of genres.
