With social distancing regulations in place, and another three weeks confirmed for the UK, we’ve been looking to music to help us through each day.
Today when scrolling through Spotify, we couldn’t help but consider songs that have a whole new meaning at the minute. With social distancing rules, the new normal of staying in every day and even our weekly essential food shop — there seems to be a song with the perfect title and lyrics to express it all.
Now Playing: 10 Songs with Brand New Meaning:

Doesn’t anybody stay in one place any more?

Holding you again could only do me good
Oh how I wish I could but you’re so far away

I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality

Company’s okay
Solitude is bliss
6. “Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson

Make you banana pancakes
Pretend like it’s the weekend now
We could pretend it all the time
