It’s been said and then it’s been said again: wash your hands!
At this very uncertain time, it’s the one thing people are certain about. As the NHS suggests, washing your hands is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and others.
The official advice has been to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds — the same amount of time it takes to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice. However, that’s not an extremely enticing song to begin with; and since we’re only used to hearing it once a year (with cake at the end), multiple times a day can lead not only to agitation, but potentially even dislike for one’s own birthday!
