As gyms and public spaces are continuing to close in the coronavirus pandemic, our normal exercise routines have been completely disrupted. And yet, it is more important than ever to maintain your physical and mental well-being!

To help with this, we’ve rounded up a selection of the best online workouts and live stream classes that you can join in with from the comfort of your own home – no equipment or advanced level of fitness required. You might even find that you’ll leave isolation healthier and stronger than ever before.


Diversity have decided to make access to their online classes and tutorials completely free for everybody until the start of May. Diversity and the whole 20DV team want to spread love and positivity in these troubling times, with their belief that dance should be accessible and enjoyable for all, so in their words ‘Be safe… Get dancing… Keep smiling…’

Joe Wicks

Joe Wicks aka ‘The Body Coach’ and now ‘The Nations PE teacher’ has been heralded as a hero among parents who’ve suddenly found themselves homeschooling children. Joe Wicks has pledged to livestream PE classes on his YouTube channel every day at 9am, until schools reopen. It’s great family fun for adults and kids who can burn off some steam together, whilst also adding a sense of routine to the start of the day.

Go on set that alarm for 9am… it’s one you’ll want to get involved in!

Barry’s Bootcamp

This is the original high intensity interval workout. If you’re looking for some strenuous exercise, then Barry’s Bootcamp is for you! This celebrity endorsed work-out program may have closed their gym facilities for the time being, but they are streaming FREE work-out classes from their Instagram channel.

Tribe MCR

Founded by NHS Doctor Jessicarr Moorhouse, Tribe MCR is a health and wellness brand designed to make exercise accessible to all and improve overall health. Live streamed classes are being offered on their Facebook channel, including #MIDDAYMOVE every Wednesday at 12pm – the perfect motivation for those working from home to get up from their desks (or couches!) and get active!


One of the fastest growing fitness brands in recent years – Gymshark are offering both free workouts on their app and exercise videos which you can follow from their Instagram channel. These exercises are designed for home use, so you can forget about advanced gym equipment – just grab a chair and get started!


This popular fitness brand uploads daily 30-minute work-out videos to their YouTube channel, specifically designed for at home exercises. So, before you splash out on an at-home-gym have a look at these classes. They’ll encourage you to get creative with household items – ever used a coffee tub or pack of washing detergents as a gym weight? Maybe it’s time to give it a go!

CorePower Yoga

The benefits of Yoga for your wellbeing cannot be understated. And in unsettled and stressful times such as this, it’s never been more important to carve out a moment of peace for yourself. To help with this, CorePower Yoga are offering daily online live stream classes. You can access these on their YouTube channel.

Yoga with Adriene

Yoga with Adriene offers a wide selection of Yoga videos on her YouTube channel, for all experience levels. Including on her channel; 30 Days of Yoga which showcases a variety of poses and exercises for each day, this channel is an excellent resource to help you find your zen.

Results Wellness Lifestyle

Founded by fitness fanatic and reality tv star Lucy Mecklenburgh, this fitness platform offers workouts that can be completed at home. With a live stream class schedule from Monday – Sunday, including Pilates, Full Body HIIT and family workouts, all streamed on their Instagram channel, this timetable is sure to keep you busy!


Most known for their online indoor bike classes, Peloton also offer a number of other cardio and strength exercises on their app, and they are now offering a free 90-day trial. The perfect excuse to give this a go.
