Artists are pulling together to lift the spirits of restless music fans who are self isolating amidst the current coronavirus outbreak. The likes of Chris Martin, P!nk, Christine & the Queens and more have been hosting free live stream concerts on Instagram and Youtube to reach out to fans across the world. ❤️

We could all do with a bit of live music to cheer us up, here are some of the latest streams you can catch up on:

Chris Martin

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took to Instagram earlier this week, with a series called ‘Together, At Home’ – an initiative launched by Global Citizen Festival and the World Health Organisation. Chris revealed that the band were supposed to be playing together on the same day, but they were stuck in different countries across the world.

“I thought what would be nice is check in with some of you out there and see how you’re doing, where you are and what I can do for you,” he said, before playing several of Coldplay’s hits as well as a cover of Bowie’s ‘Life On Mars’

John Legend

As part of the same series, ‘Together at Home’, John Legend played an hour long set of his classic songs. “Social distancing is important, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. I did a little at-home performance to help lift your spirits,” he said.

OneRepublic

Meanwhile, ‘Counting Stars’ vocalist Ryan Tedder posed an acoustic session on Instagram Live, including fan favourites and a special request from Joe Jonas.

Keith Urban

Country music star Keith Urban also shared a special 30 minute live set from his storage warehouse. “I want to be able to play some songs and bring a little entertainment to your screens.” His wife Nicole Kidman can be seen living her best life in the background 💃

Death Cab For Cutie

Ben Gibbard, lead vocalist from indie rock band Death Cab For Cutie, posted a live session from his home studio where he performed some of the bands hits and a cover of Radiohead’s classic ‘Fake Plastic Trees’.

The live sessions are set to continue, with the addition of various guests over the next few weeks.

Yungblud

After the postponement of his tour, Yungblud decided to put on a Jimmy Kimmel style livestream show called ‘Shit’s Weird, Keep Calm and Carry On’, featuring guest appearances from Machine Gun Kelly, Bella Thorne, and Oliver Tree, live from the studio at the Beehive in California.

“I woke up one morning after my shows were cancelled and was like, ‘you know what, fuck this. I need to feel that connection and noise, that energy'”.

Christine & the Queens

Christine & the Queens announced that she’ll be hosting nightly live shows from the Ferber recording studios in Paris, from 10pm GMT. ” I’ll find a way to deal with the ennui. Guests and weird concepts included” she said.

The first live stream saw her perform an acoustic version of her hit ‘People I’ve Been Sad’.

P!nk

P!nk also posted a stunning live piano session of Adele’s ‘To Make You Feel My Love’, followed by a series of other acoustic versions that can be found on her Instagram page.
