Kylie Minogue at SOTC, Manchester this July!
Australian-British singer Kylie Minogue is recognised all over the world for her music and legacy. We can’t wait for her to take centre stage at Castlefield Bowl as part of Sounds Of The City following her storming Glastonbury set. Having sold an excess of 80 million records, achieving Worldwide success, 19 headline tours and an OBE awarded for services to music, Kylie has built her name as one of THE powerhouses of pop.
Kylie gained recognition in the Australian soap opera ‘Neighbours’ in 1985 and after appearing in the series for two years, she became a successful recording artist in London with her 1st album, “Kylie” which reached number one on the British album charts and sold 7 million copies worldwide. Minogue has achieved immense success as the result of her releases, with single “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” becoming one of the most successful singles of the 2000’s followed by other tracks such as “All The Lovers”, “Get Outta My Way”, “The Loco-Motion” and “Spinning Around”.
To mark her Glastonbury legends slot this Sunday, Kylie has released an album of greatest hits titled ‘Step Back In Time’ . This collection of Kylie’s tracks will reflect upon her career as a pop icon, from the global number one smash hit ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ in 1987 through to her most singles ‘Dancing’ from her recent chart-topping album ‘Golden’, released last year.
