There’s only two more days to wait for techno legends The Prodigy’s seventh album No Tourists – their first release in three years. This album sees the Essex trio collaborate with the likes of The Ho99o9, and is the third to be released through their own independent label Take Me To The Hospital. It includes lead singles ‘Fight Fire With Fire’, ‘Light Up The Sky’, ‘We Live Forever’ and ‘Need Some1’; the music video for the latter amassing 2 million views already.
Producer/synth player Liam Howlett told Billboard “I never let anything out the studio unless were really delighted about it, unless we know we can play it live and it really represents the band.”, showing the thought process that has kept the group relevant for almost thirty years.
The band are also auctioning off two exclusive items via eBay for the charity Myeloma UK. Fans can bid for the 303 synth from Howlett’s studio which was used to create the acid effect on ‘Light Up The Sky’, as well as a one-of-a-kind signed double Platinum disc for Music For The Jilted Generation (1994) and The Fat of The Land (1997).
This November, The Prodigy will embark on an extensive UK tour to celebrate the release of No Tourist. Due to phenomenal demand, many dates are close to selling out as the final few tickets remain for Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham and London’s second date – do not miss out!
