King of Latin Pop, Enrique Iglesias, is bringing all of his greatest hits to the UK this October on his ‘All The Hits Tour’. Enrique is successful in the Spanish, UK and US music industries, with songs such as ‘I Like It’, ‘Be With You’ and ‘Heroes’- taking after his father, Julio Iglesias, with his vocal talent.
Earlier this year, Enrique released ‘Move To Miami (feat. Pitbull)’ which is his first English single in 4 years. A very successful return to the charts, ‘Move To Miami’ is a catchy, summer dance track that brings sunshine into your life with just one listen. Enrique and Pitbull are a dynamic duo when it comes to creating songs together, infusing them with a sexy spark making them much loved club anthems.
When speaking about his tour in a recent interview, Enrique said, ‘I haven’t been to the UK on tour in quite a while now. If I’m not mistaken, 2014. Crazy how time flies. I always say this but I honestly enjoy every time more and more being up on stage. I think a lot of it has to do with the songs and the songs that I am able to pick, the songs that I’ve written over the years. That makes the show a lot more interesting – and of course, the production. From a production standpoint I want to make sure it’s as good as it can be.’
Enrique is a huge fan of UK artists such as Dua Lipa and stated that ‘Shotgun’ by George Ezra is his favourite song right now, playing it on repeat to his two children.
Although he’s been in the music industry for some time now, Enrique still stresses how important being healthy is when on tour.
‘At times touring can be gruelling’, he says, ‘The longer you’ve been doing it you realise you have to be healthy; you have to make sure that you rest. For example, now when I do the UK shows I know that those two weeks I’m going to have to make sure I’m perfectly healthy and get as much rest as possible. Five shows might not sound like a lot but in 10 days you want to be as focused as possible.’
The UK shows are going to be something special for fans, with Enrique putting loads of time and thought into them to make up for his long-awaited and anticipated return.
‘When it [the UK] came up I was like: ‘I have to go to the UK because it’s been too many years’. To me four years is way too long, and it shouldn’t be. It’s too much time in between shows.’
Expect a night filled with all of Enrique’s most popular hits that will have you on your feet dancing and singing along from start to finish. His UK tour is going to be something special, with support from British soul legend Beverly Knight, and the promise of quality production, you do not want to miss out on this party.
