Situated at a variety of venues in and around Manchester city centre, Neighbourhood Festival returns by popular demand. Consisting of a full day of live music, there is something for everyone during this fabulous one-day event.
Headlining this year is Mercury Prize nominated indie/art rock band, Everything Everything, and ever popular Sundara Karma, who just finished their highly anticipated second album earlier in July.
The final wave of acts was released last week, including rising female fronted Calva Louise, who have been featured in Total Guitar magazine, supported The Regrettes on their sold-out London Show in August and will be supporting Hunter and the Bear on their UK October tour. Their sound is a special mix of grunge with psychedelic-rock injections; a very exciting new sound that has been buried in the underground music industry.
Airways have also joined the line-up. A young but dedicated band with influences from Gorillaz and Arctic Monkeys, they have supported Nothing But Thieves and Sunset Sons, and will be embarking on their headline UK Tour at the end of this month, kicking things off in Norwich on September 24th.
As well as these amazing artists and bands such as The Magic Gang, The Orielles and No Hot Ashes, there are some very special guests still waiting to be announced.
Tickets are only £33.00 (inc. booking fee) and will grant you access to all the festivals venues including Albert Hall, Gorilla, O2 Ritz and Deaf Institute.
Neighbourhood Festival is one Manchester event you do not want to miss out on. It will bring this musically enriched city even more alive and you may even discover some new, favourite bands along the way.
