Multi-Platinum Hip-Hop Group Cypress Hill Release New Single “Crazy” With A World Premiere on Power 106’s “The Cruz Show”
“An arresting return rooted in that searing guitar line and
some taut rhymes from Cypress Hill.” –Clash Music
New York, NY – Hip-Hop pioneers, Cypress Hill, released their brand, new single – “Crazy” – today, just weeks before the release of their ninth studio album. Available now on all streaming platforms, Sen Dog, B-Real and Eric “Bobo” Correa stopped by Power 106 in LA yesterday to talk about the new album with The Cruz Morning Show and premiere the track. The guys also shot a new video for the song and partnered with the team at Hypebeast to premiere.
“Crazy” is the latest single off the band’s upcoming album, ‘Elephants on Acid’, which is now available for pre-order. Fans who pre-order the record will get “Crazy” as an instant-grat track, along with the previously released tracks, “Band of Gypsies” and “Muggs is Dead.”
‘Elephants on Acid’ will be released on September 28 and is the band’s first album in nearly a decade. With DJ Muggs at the helm, ‘Elephants on Acid’ is the first record he produced since 2004’s Til Death Do Us Part. After reuniting with B-Real and Sen Dog in Los Angeles, Muggs travelled across the world to collect the vibe and sounds that make up much of what you’ll hear from start to finish on the 21-track-interlude mix. Cypress Hill takes the listener on a musical journey, starting from the alleyways of Cairo on “Band of Gypsies” to the mystical vibes of Joshua Tree where Gonja Sufi lays down some cannabis-infused flow on “Jesus Was a Stoner” and “Blood on my Hands Again.” Additional standout tracks from B-Real and Sen Dog include “Warlord” and “Put Em In The Ground” – both are sure to bring fans the classic sound they love with a 2018 twist.
Cypress Hill will be hitting the UK in November/December for their ‘Elephants On Acid Tour’, following a number of sold out US dates.
