AMERICA – JULY 4

Happy Independence Day to everybody across the pond! For those who don’t know about American Independence Day, it’s pretty much our Bonfire Night… but on steroids. Instead of standing in the November Rain, the people of America get to stand in the American Sun. The 4th of July is all about the USA coming together to celebrate the fact they’re American. So we thought we’d get our own slice of the American Dream and tell you about the must see American artists touring in the UK this year. God Bless America.

Kid Ink

This LA born rapper is a real homie, working with some of the best hip-hop artists in the business as well as having success on his own. He’s coming to the UK in October, so get your tickets HERE

Action Bronson
The Queens born rapper really shows his roots in his music. Action’s latest music video for his track ‘Baby Blue’ starts off by talking about the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, which was probably the one of the biggest fights in American and world history. Get tickets to Bronson’s UK dates in September HERE
Bad Religion
Ahhh, good ol’ American pop-punk. Bad Religion feed the youth of the US words of rebellion and anarchy with the use of the growly voice of Greg Graffin. Witness the pop-punk sensations in the UK this August by getting your tickets HERE
Miguel
One of the coolest artists in the World right now. The singer, songwriter and producer has been busy in the build up to the release of his new album ‘Wildheart’, with the release of the 3 track EP including this song ‘Coffee’. Miguel comes to the UK in October, so don’t miss the chance to see him. Get your tickets HERE

Reel Big Fish

Reel Big Fish are classic example of a band who don’t take themselves too seriously. With a very original ska sound, the big brass section in the pop-punk separate them from the rest. They play two shows in the UK this October in Birmingham and Manchester, so get you tickets HERE before they Sell Out!

TNA Wrestling
Okay, we know this isn’t music, but TNA Wrestling is a massive part of American culture which we cannot miss out on. MVP and co are coming the Britain to cause havoc in January so don’t miss out. Get you tickets HERE

SOJA
However, if you don’t fancy the mayhem of Total Non-stop Action Wrestling, come and chill with rock-steady vibes of SOJA who come to Manchester in August. Don’t miss this one.

Sturgill Simpson
Sturgill Simpson is definitely one to enjoy with some shrimps on the barbie… Wait no, that’s not right! Grab a bottle of Jack and come and be mesmerised by the impressive American country singer when he comes to London. Get your tickets HERE.

The Story So Far
These lads from California definitely know how to put on a show, with tasty guitar riffs, driving drum beats and screaming vocals. The Story So Far are ones not to be missed, so get your tickets HERE
TV On The Radio
Here, we have another artists from the Big Apple, but unlike Action Bronson, TV On The Radio are an experimental indie band which a British audience will love. Don’t miss their shows and get your tickets HERE
Welcome To Night Vale
Not a musical act, but Welcome To Night Vale is a popular American podcast which airs weekly. The podcast is about a fictional town called Night Vale, which tells tales about the town using weird and flowing language that seem to set the mood of the town. Their show will consist of never seen before shows as well as live music and role-play scenes. Don’t miss their UK shows by getting your tickets HERE
