Nicky Romero will be supporting David Guetta at Alexandra Palace on June 1 & 2. We caught up with him to find how he’s preparing for the two massive shows…
G&T: Hi Nicky, What are you up to at this moment?
NR: Well i am on my way to play in Baku in Azerbaijan, very exciting! 🙂
G&T: You’re playing Alexandra Palace with David Guetta in June what can
the audience expect?
NR: An all out Nicky romero set, held back just a tad as I am warming up for David
but still it will be mental I promise 🙂
G&T: You’ve played a lot of great festivals and toured this year, which has
the best so far?
NR: There were too many great gigs this year for me to be able to pick one to be
honest! Highlights definitely were Ultra and the gigs with David supporting his
French tour though.
G&T: Will you be playing any new material?
NR: Of course 🙂 there is a great new track that will be out on my new label soon
that just kills 🙂
G&T: What is your favourite song to perform live?
NR: You ask very hard questions you know that 🙂 At the mount I love to play
Nicktim has to be one of my favorites!
G&T: Where has been your favourite gig? Which song do you wish you had
written? What was the first gig you ever went to?
NR: As said loads of great great gigs this year so hard to choose! I wish I had
composed anything the Dire Straits did and the first gig I went to was to see a
dutch Dj at a local club 🙂
G&T: Plans for the rest of the year?
NR: I am starting my own record label, my own radio show, will be making loads of
new tunes I have a few collabs lined up that are going to be amazing!!
