Introducing… Little Roy

Legendary Reggae singer Little Roy delivers a series of refreshingly original Nirvana covers on his highly praised new album ‘Battle For Seattle’. The courageous album features classics such as Sliver, Polly, Lithium and Heartshaped Box. Little Roy’s lively tonal range compliments Cobains lyrics perfectly, providing an amazing crossover between the Reggae and Grunge genres. He says of his new album “When these Nirvana songs hit you, you’ll feel the music, and no pain. You have to listen deep to get it.”.

‘Battle For Seattle’ has had the nod of approval from the Nirvana camp, with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic having been reported to love it and Charles Peterson, who’s responsible for the cover shot of Nirvana’s ‘Bleach’, providing the cover image for Little Roy’s release.

With such high praise coming from above, I can’t wait to catch Little Roy at the Scala in London next week! Get tickets at
